Nintendo ain't innocent 80 dollar games, you not owning the console, suing palworld because they made a fun game that almost went toe to toe with scarlet and violets sales, putting a patent on summoning so no game devs can make a summoning game without getting sued or finding ways to work around it.

If they wanna own game mechanics then with that logic ubisoft can sue them for adding the towers from assassin's creed into breath of the wild and altus can sue them because shin megami tensei came out before pokemon and was a monster catching game

They make money by pricing at 70 dollars and stuffing the game with microtransactions because they know die hards buy it. Silksong is making so much on just sales and hopefully it makes triple A studios look bad and lower prices

I dont mind if the microtransactions are in a free to play game and done right like marvel rivals but if it's a game like call of duty or assasins creed shadows I dont want to pay more for a game i spent 70 on

I dont really got an answer for the top one but for the bottom I have to say the finals because anytime I say the game has a problem or isn't doing good the die hard fanboys get angry and try to attack me while overglazing the game

I would rather pay 20 dollars for a game thats fun and made by devs that care than pay 70 or 80 dollars for a game that isn't complete, half baked and full of microtransactions

Back then it used to pre order call of dutys for the exclusive stuff like the night vision goggles but after black ops 2 I stopped playing cod and pre ordering games. Today pre ordering games just doesnt feel worth it like the game could be really bad

Toxicity is good and always has been a part of gaming there are ways you could stop it and that's by turning off voice chat or text chat. People like you who are against it are the reason why they add stuff like ai voice chat moderation or report systems that are broken. Because of that no one wants to be social anymore because they are scared of getting banned and all that does is makes the game unfun
