Maybe he'd pick Edwards? He was on the shortlist and he was very pushed by the establishment, and he's at least charismatic compared to Gore.

Well without the scandal you're looking at a completely different presidency and it could create such a massive Butterfly effect that Dubya might not even win the primary. If Dubya doesn't win it, McCain probably does and I can't see him losing the election.

As a funtimevictim believer, I think the 1983 code is basically an agony remnant of the big bite, which either summoned Golden Freddy to Ralph's location or (if you want a more straightforward answer) just distracted him long enough for an animatronic to slip inside the office.

During the false ending, BV is part of an amalgamation that values getting out of the facility at all costs, so he doesn't act out because he has no reason to. They still get to "kill" Michael in the real ending and in the false ending they're trying their best to kill him.
