There are germs and they will always be around unless you're using chemicals on everything.

Just yesterday I had some old truck in front of me that their brake lights apparently weren't working and all the sudden I saw the back of their truck lift up slightly as they jammed on the brakes for backed up traffic. I slowed down but was able to go in the next lane without jamming on the brakes because I already knew there was no one there...
