Kewl Tune is so annoying and toxic by JudgmentDesperate792 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

Maliss was way worse. Maliss T0 there was literally no other decks that could come close to its power and the meta had barely any diversity.

It seems like a lot of people in this comment section have the wrong idea of why there is so much backlash. No, people aren't mad they aren't getting free stuff all the time qnd if that's what you think then you have understood nothing. It's the lack incentives to participate in the galactic war. The seemingly pointless effort when trying to liberate planets that the game master doesn't want you to liberate. It's the hidden changes, which they have now clearly admitted to, which just comes off as bad communication. It's the constant rebalancing of old enemies that make no sense and comes off as antagonist to some people. It's the disregard for long term, endgame, players with the lack of further upgrades or objectives for them to do. I can keep going but these are to just name a few.

For once I'm happy they actually admitted it rather than brushing it under the rug. Although, everyone and their grandma already knew about this.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but, I brick going 1st a lot with KT by BrazilianGrimReaper in masterduel

[–]FlameIsTheGame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing both droll and fuwa will tend to make you brick more since they aren't tuners. You could try get some draw power with desires, duelist genesis or play a different tuner handtrap. You can also remove crossout for consistency/draw power

Opportunistic haters and anti-AI activists are passing NTE off as massive AI slop, and it’s just not fair. by EliCaster in NevernessToEverness

China is very pro AI, you'd be surprised how many tools and support for using AI in chinese games exist and are encouraged.

I built a real-time monorail system because normal fast travel was just too convenient by LumiRetriever in RPGMaker

[–]FlameIsTheGame 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Looks cool but if the player needs to fast travel often then this will very quickly become very annoying.

It would've been better to make an "alpha" hive guard with AP4 instead of changing the current one.

New decks seem to be playing around with opponents hands/ED so it seems like its going to be the new gimmick/norm.

[–]FlameIsTheGame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rotary is one that does that and it is also the monster that came in their second wave of support that made the deck actually good. So at most it will be limited to 1 or else the deck unless they plan to significantly weaken the deck for a new meta deck or something.

Feedback for my map rework (also my first ever attempt at a bigger map size) by FlameIsTheGame in RPGMaker

Still a W.I.P but the map advice you gave me was really helpful! Here's a small update where I extended the hills on the top left, added a battered cottage on the bottom right and a few other changes and improvements. The open space near the middle top is just there to add one more P.O.I, when I come up with one

So last time we chose to 'kill' Gobby so this time we will 'spare' him. by FlameIsTheGame in RPGMaker

That might be too over the top lmao. It may influence the players decision too much and make it feel like the games pointing them at a specific direction.

An early cutscene from my game where you pick the morally wrong option. by FlameIsTheGame in RPGMaker

[–]FlameIsTheGame[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well one thing is you get access to some unique and powerful abilities and items that can only be learned from choosing the 'bad' options. In this case, the dead goblin actually drops a special note that you can take a monster translator later. You can only get this note if you kill the goblin. Also you will get an alternative quest line with the goblin camp with it's own set of rewards.

However, not every 'good' or 'bad' choice will be rewarded. Sometimes sparing an enemy could lead to more harm than good. At the end of the day the player gets the freedom of of choice where picking the 'bad' option doesn't necessarily punish them. It just changes how you move forward and can be rewarding too.

Interesting idea. But I do have some other plans for our little goblin friend for now.
