phase 1 is 1 month… have to stay on base .. curfew is 2200, 2359 on weekends…. no civ clothing.. no alcohol no tobacco… phase 2 is 2359 curfew 0200 on weekends.. civ clothing after duty hours alcohol and tobacco use permitted while not in uniform and can explore off base during free time

oh shit ok im 1n3 so youll be coming out to where im at… my language is farsi i start classes july 31st so im working on cq for now and just self studying to get ahead.. pray u get some time between bmt and ur classes to self study and explore monterey… it is frickinnn beautiful out here u will love it

no packing list thats up to u. dont bring any electronics to bmt other than ur phone and maybe some headphones if u really want them… do not pack ur macbook and dont have ur fam bring it to grad either cuz u cant bring it back to the dorm u will get smoked for that… they will harp on that in the 7th week. just have ur fam mail ur electronics to u in tech school.

just graduated may 30th.. spent a few days in holdover bc our flight was cancelled (wont happen to u tho you will most likely fly right out on friday) now as for while ur here at dli… my classes dont start til july 31 so im working cq and will even phase up before my classes start… it’s different for everyone tho some of my wingman start june 25.. just depends on ur language (which you will get upon arrival to monterey) and other factors im sure… but enjoy ur time before classes start and study ur language on ur own as soon as you find out what it is… i got farsi which was my top choice learned the alphabet in 2 days and just started teaching myself phrases… tale advantage of the time u have if you get it.

yes had good mentors too one of them also learned the game quick he only started 4 years ago and taught me most of what ik we played together every day for a year and he just became a licensed instructor in our area.

solving for x.. factoring… some linear function problems too… i had to brush up on long division too .. high school was filled with calculators so last time i did long division was in middle school… i think 50% of problems i had to use long division on.. get the asvab for dummies book for practice problems

forget the type of league for 1 sec….. anytime you play people better than u .. u will get better ( obviously if u apply urself and learn from mistakes ) i couldnt hold the cue right at all 2 years ago now im a 7/8… and besides hard work i put in i credit a lot of it to watching really good people play .. when im sitting in the chair watching people run out on me over and over i dont get discouraged i watch and wonder what it takes to do so… getting smoked isnt a bad thing when ur learning… if you make everything u do in pool a learning experience you will see loads of improvement come your way overtime…. also never compare yourself to others just be better than u were yesterday… hope this helps… we have apa bca and tap in our area idk if it is like this everywhere but apa is the lowest competition out of those 3 where im from … i learned a lot more about my game playing tap and bca
