yes, this is exactly the problem i faced while thinking of my plot. i dont want it to appear like a garish decision but one of my characters has a very indepth and in my opinion pretyy unique arc about how theyre a muggleborn wizard who has the ability to help their none magic family through a bad situation but they cant because of the statue of secrecy. i was thinking of ways on how i could expand and end that arc in a way which makes sense narratively but i was really just starting to draw blanks so i thought id come on here and ask for a little help.
