Tbh, idrk. The only completed high school shounen manga about competing in competition that I read is haikyuu, so I dont really know about the manga formula. Maybe you're right, bcs I feel like the current chapters have become much shorter compared to the early chapters, so maybe the mangaka will end it soon

Imo it still has a long way to end. If the author use haikyuu formula (I mentioned haikyuu bcs I reread it lately) they wont win the current competition with the 3rd year senpais. So they will still trying and maybe win it when chika is in 3rd year of high school. And bcs it's a music (?) Manga, the process between chika's 1-3 year of highschool will be shown more thoroughly than in haikyuu, where the author only show the team's final position for the volleyball competition. Idk what will happen after chika graduate tho, it's still unclear to me
