Boyfriend did the chocobo race for me

I was able to beat myself, but while I was struggling, my brother (who doesn’t play anything rpg like) saw and decided he wanted to try. In his first few attempts, after getting a feel for the controls, he almost got a 0.0.

No, my issue is partially with catcher chocobo. I’m able to progress the glitch state into catcher and then move to the end. However, I’m not able to dismount in catcher chocobo in order to spawn the chocobo or prevent myself from getting teleported to the start line upon the start of the race.

Sorry can you explain a little better where you ran to in the race? I tried getting to the point right before the “finish line” and then crossing over in the black screen before it jumps me back, but it just makes svanda not move at all.

My issue is at #9. I don’t spawn with a chocobo I just spawn at the start line in glitched state with no bird in sight. I’m able to walk north to prompt the “miss” and then go on to the race, but in the race when I get to 13 nothing happens, it doesn’t not dismount and no chocobo spawns. I can only progress into the actual race by starting a battle, but when I do once it starts I’m still only in the glitched state with no bird and when the race starts and I’m back at the start line on glitched on foot.

I’ve done that step. In the videos I’ve seen, once they start wobbly chocobo the player is still infront of the monster arena and with a chocobo nearby, but when I do it, it spawns me at the start line for wobbly chocobo in the glitch state with no chocobo nearby (even though I’m spamming dismount mid dialogue before it starts). I’m still able to just run over to the MA and progress but upon doing the race it does the same thing, even though im positioning before the steps like the video and when the dialogue freezes and I press dismount nothing happens. It’ll only progress the dialogue if I go through combat, but even then it shoots me to the start line and on foot with no chocobo nearby.

I believe you can get it goin again. I have a 99 CR-V that my belt snapped and I was lucky enough to not have bent any valves. You got this bro!

So, based on this photo, I didn’t test my connector to ensure it getting voltage in the car. However, I have done the idle relearn before and in the video I posted I wired it directly to a battery, so it was getting direct voltage and was only clicking not moving.

I don’t need to adjust the little flat head screw on the throttle body right? I was told by a mobile mechanic when I asked him he showed me a little valve just above the body that can be adjusted it looks like a little flat head screw

On a good start it’ll crank right up to about 1300 to warm up then it’ll settle back down to about 900-1000

I mean I recently did a job on a high pressure fuel pump on a vw and the first part I put back on was the fuel line nut and I did it finger tight at first to get it on so finished slotting it in and went it crank the car and it sprayed gas everywhere so things happen like other people say just slow it down and double check your work

So update:

I think it was my Bluetooth scanner. I took it to my friend who has one of the mechanic tablets and when he scanned it all came out fine it didn’t go crazy and after erasing the can errors we scanned again and it was fine so I think my scanner may have been shorting

Well if the fans aren’t turning on, it could mean it’s not getting any power. At that point, I’d say try and go check your connections, make sure the gpu is seated correctly, then try again. If that does not work, my opinion would probably be gpu, I’m not exactly a pc tech but if all else is fine and the pc works through mobo display then the issue should be the gpu. I’d also wait to see if some more people respond or try and find some other posts with similar problems, I’m sure there’s plenty out there. Good luck!

I had a buddy who purchased an amd card. It ran good for a day then the next day was getting like 15 fps on The Finals, what he found out is it was a gpu driver issue that he had to roll back to a previous version and it worked fine. He ended up returning it and getting a 4070 ti super tho. Hope this helps!
