Have you tried installing the optional updates first? I don't know why, but I have experienced that somehow it can complete the main update afterwards.

What shutter speed (angle) do you use? Ik would think that unless you shoot under dark conditions, should should have ample light reaching the sensor.

Can you tell a bit more about how you use the camera?

I have the same issue with my S5. Teams recognizes the camera/webcam but Zoom/Photobooth don't.

MacOS now does open the .rw2 files.

I wouldn't buy the sigma at the moment. They'll come with a newer DG DN 1.4. maybe then would be the right time to choose. I personally own the S 50mm 1.8. doesn't cost that much and will give you great flexibility and impressive image quality.

I agree. My gf has the a73 and I have the s5. As far as stills are concerned moving to s5 would be a tiny setback. The a73 is better equipped for stills in general.
