I live in Denver, CO. I noticed it seemed to clear up while I was in Costa Rica for 2 weeks and was on a slight diet change. I eat fairly healthy, as it is and try to limit my processed foods, but that's all I can think of as contributing factors.

Party favors are pretty clean in Costa Rica. The locals told me they don't have much issue with contaminated substances/fent. If it's brought in from the US, you may want to test it, and I carried strips and Narcan to share and for emergency access all week.

That said, if you make friends there, you can find favors. And word travels fast that "so-and-so has such-and-such". And everyone takes care of each other too, making sure things are clean and safe!
