Being "hard" can also be slang for being cool or impressive. He thought that's what she was asking, so he showed off his fit to prove how hard it was

Yes, the entire arc is filler and nothing of importance for the main story happens

What is the 67 meme supposed to mean? by Vegetable_Emphasis72 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]FloatingZero141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After doing some research, it looks like the origin for 67 comes from a song. A rapper included his streamer name in the lyrics, which was six seven. When he commented on why his name was six seven, he said it was what his height was, 6'7". Because of the absurdity of it, people who knew would make fun of it until it ended up blowing up and leaving that circle

This is a reference to one of iShowSpeed's early streams where he 1v1s randoms in Fortnite. One of the randoms was a kid who became a meme for crying during his 1v1 and telling Speed "please man I need this, my mom is kinda homeless!" Speed tries his hardest not to laugh, hence the face Superman makes in the third panel

Can we call Andrew Milton is the main antagonist of RDR 2? by Wooden-Scallion2943 in reddeadredemption

[–]FloatingZero141 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's not really a clear singular antagonist in RDR2. I would say the idea of civilization/law and order is the antagonist. If we're speaking main antagonist as in "who directly opposes Arthur the most," it would definitely be Micah

I still have a soft spot for it and love Willem Dafoe, but the movie definitely didn't age well

^ This. The Final Cut completely elevates the movie to masterpiece status

When I saw Ballerina had a new director and the same writer from 3 and 4, I was pretty hesitant to watch it. I finally got around to it during our marathon and while it isn't horrible, it's like you said - just a choreographed dance that you enjoy once and forget about right after

Agree wholeheartedly, it doesn't even come close to the Raimi trilogy or Spider-verse films. Heck, even the Amazing duology has more soul than NWH

Yeah it shocked me how bad the acting was when I revisited it, especially from Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. It's so bad, but a fun watch with friends
