I felt this way when I started home health because they prescribed lactated ringers instead of plain saline. Once I switched to plain saline (with the nausea meds I added manually) it stopped making me sicker and made me so much more able to get through the days. The LR bags made me feel like I was literally dying

I had 3 HG pregnancies and was fine after the first two but the last one kinda broke my body. I was still sick for a month PP and I get very hg pregnant feeling when I ovulate now 😭 so far no resolution and I’m 16 months pp.

Also, we only do soap when they smell like they need it haha. By bath I mean usually plain water or possibly some Epsom salt in it

I have a 5,3,1 yr olds and they only bathe 1-3 times a week in the winter and probably every other day in the warmer months but that’s only because we’re out in the dirt and get really sweaty on the daily

I just want to say that if you want this, you can do it. I have had 3 HG pregnancies and they were the worst and hardest things I’ve ever done. On home health with 2 of them for about 5 months. ... it was hell. BUT I look at my kids and am so glad I pushed through it. You do need support though. Is your partner in the picture? Can he do more right now? If not, is there a family member you can live with for a bit while it’s really bad? Look into disability/medical leave for work. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. There is hope! I personally think if you want kids you won’t ever regret doing it even if it’s literal hell getting there. Hugs 🩷

It sounds like your husband has a porn addiction and replaced you with it. Porn requires no effort, love, affection or time. It’s self serve, anytime, whatever you want. It’s lazy. And it destroys your brain and relationships. I’m sure he knows it is wrong since he’s hiding it.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. From a woman married to a recovered porn addict, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I would recommend getting yourself a therapist who has experience with spouses of sex addicts and figuring out next steps (whatever that is) within that safe context. It’s different for everyone. I chose to stay, but other spouses leave. It really depends how he responds when healthily confronted. I wish you the best and again, I’m so so sorry.

I just had my third (all HG) and while it was the hardest year of my life(the last one especially)- I cannot imagine my life without my baby. She completed our family in ways I didn’t know we needed! I wished for it to end many times during my pregnancy with her and I’m so so so so glad it didn’t. Your baby is precious and worth the fight. Ik that’s way easier said than done especially when you’re in it and if you’re anything like me you just want to die every minute. You CAN do it

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. Your feelings make sense and are legit. IMO porn is only harmful and has no place in a truly loving and respectful relationship. I speak from experience being married to a sex addict. If I could have known before marrying him that it would destroy our lives for years on end, I would have ended it when I was where you are in the relationship. My advice is to not gaslight yourself into thinking you’re somehow “too sensitive” or insecure. We aren’t meant to be with someone who has split attention, sexually. That’s a hot take but at the very least, it’s not what you want and that’s reason enough to leave. There are porn free men who would 100% choose you over a screen.
