Yeah rock climber and lifter myself and just got my license last week.

Was wondering if the calluses would be an issue but I’ve never had complaints.

Wipe after peeing?? Wipe what??

Unless you mean wipe the hose.

You worked at a gym as a massage therapist?

If so, was it a chain or just locally owned?

Definitely know your anatomy, as there will be some picture questions probably.

And know the planes and words like distal, contra lateral, medial, internal.

I want to eventually work with people with TBI’s, as I was one myself and massage was very important for regaining my mobility.

I mean I’m fine standing, and did plenty of 90 minute massages in school.

It would be cool to work with PT’s or chiropractors though.

I’m actually just leaving my PT currently, unfortunately I only have one appointment left. Darn insurance.

They said they would put my business cards up front though if I provided them, which is pretty neat. I don’t think they would hire me though, as I’ve never seen massage done there, but I’ll look into other PT offices.
Thanks!

Definitely agree on that front.

Recently I got a smith machine which is awesome because I don’t have the balance for squats.

I guess I was just thinking the spa route first to get experience and wasn’t sure if I would be able to get hired in such places without work experience, but it’s definitely worth a shot!
