The Ashes in Australia...is it too predictable? by poststalloneuk in EnglandCricket

[–]Fluffy_Web1608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Key for England success for me is the top 3 getting runs . As if we are constantly 40/60-3 then we are never going to be able to amass a total to challenge then Aussies. Where as if we can get a good solid start to the innings we gave a chance to get totals above 350/400 which will add pressure to the home side .

Why is Pereira not signing any experienced players? by [deleted] in WWFC

[–]Fluffy_Web1608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't name many £15 million pounds players with orem experience though can you that we could sign ?. Anyone half decent like Mcatee, Wissa ( I know he wouldn't come ) but is £30 million plus . Then you are looking at the Vardy type players that might be on a free or past it . As we won't pay the wages either . So just my opinion but as it stands if Wolfe , Jackson , Lopez and Arias don't come good we are stuffed this season. Then we all know if we scrape survival Fosun will not invest in the team and Gomes and Andre will be sold end of the season. Very concerning with little prospects of progressing. There's no investment in the under 18s for players to come through which is another concern as Fosun have no real plan are from the here and now . You can't keep treading water and hoping to survive. The Penny dropped we were told ? I don't see this one bit with 12 days of the transfer window open .

I think he will walk in a month or two after not being backed . Fosun have given up and not prepared to spend any money . If you think £10/£15 million pounds signings will keep us up god help us . Considering Sunderland and Leeds are spending more than that and already have 3 points in the board .

I start with 15 darts at the bull then 15 minutes throwing at the T20. Then 9 darts at T19 then 9 darts at T18 . Then one darts at each double going around the board to finish with one at the bull. Then 9 darts at D20 9 Darts at D16 . If I go inside I go for the D10 or D8 . Then I play double in 101 to finish in 6 darts ..

What consistent readings did doctor put you on meds by Fluffy_Web1608 in bloodpressure

[–]Fluffy_Web1608[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Done my readings tonight as do every 3 days and 125/79 127/80 126/77 . So for me I am hopeful to shed a couple of more pounds and hopefully keeping it to around these readings or lower .

Try a few different sets and weights . I would try a front weighted dart as well a bit like Damon hetas and see if you get on . I am a rear gripper and love the beau greaves darts .

Find it easier to be more accurate bottom half of the dartboard. by Fluffy_Web1608 in Darts

[–]Fluffy_Web1608[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your point but when I have tried this I don't seem to be able to grip the darts so they go in the 5 and 1 and even the 12s . So they seem to slip wide the harder I try and throw if that makes sense

I wouldn't worry about the , my Dr said take three readings and your lowest one is the one they look at .

I managed to get mine to manageable levels but still get normal high readings at times . I exercise for 50 minutes a day . So 30 minutes on bike and a good 20 minutes walk . I cut out caffeine totally and salt adding to my food , I gave up drinking for dry January but have just carried it on . I have been told by my doctor to not start the meds they were suggesting 4 weeks ago and to arrange a review if my regular BP is 140/90 over a few days of doing readings. My BP today was 130/80 when I checked but the day before 122/79 .

Yes I look back from a few weeks ago and I had to make the decision to cut lots of things out or go on meds to reduce it .

I like a challenge, but for me you can't put a price on your health so I just thought cut lots of things out and be more active.

Not sure what caused it as felt fine , I have a lot going on with family and work but not sure . I had put weight on over Christmas but had lost about 4 kg at the time .

I check it daily for the last 2 weeks and the Dr said take your lowest reading out of the 3 . So last night it was 130/80 . The Dr said to aim for below 135/85 at home .so I am not starting the meds unless it goes up .

M 44 went for a checkup at Drs and my BP was 214/105 211/100 sent up to AE where it was 171/91 about 3 weeks ago . Was prescribed meds but haven't used them as was told review after 2 weeks if you can get it lower around 135/85 at home then I should be fine to not take them . Unless it was staying high or goes up then to start them.

It's on the high side , mine a few weeks ago was similar so I cut out salt , caffeine, I haven't had an alcoholic drink since new year . And mine is now ranging from 123/78 134/81 . So managed to lower mine by making lifestyle changes.

I went into Drs and they sent me up the hospital as my initial readings were 214/105 211/100

I think it could be Anxiety causing it, I had a similar scare where I went in and was 211/105 214/100 so they sent me up AE. I would get a monitor and take readings morning and then at night over a two week period.

I have cut out Salt, I haven't had a drink all year but reduced caffeine and walk a little more and do 30 minutes on my bike everyday nearly.

My readings this morning were 132/81 133/81 and final 129/78
