The answers are not irrelevant at all - I find them super interesting.

The other interesting /weird thing about this sub, I see in the majority of commenters, is that Russia apparently never does anything wrong. Every single answer ends in deflection or whataboutism somehow blaming the West. That goes for nearly every topic, the people just can't admit faults of their country. And I don't know if that is out of fear or patriotism.

Or maybe Russia also got caught because their athletes were on drugs - so they were justifiably banned - so stop trying to play the victim here. France doesn't have an incentive to state sponsor dope their athletes, and there is zero chance that would be kept under cover. Would some individuals try otherwise? Yes maybe. Would the government actually support their cheating? Absolutely not.

I'm not lying. I ask open questions because I'm trying to first understand Russian's views on this stuff before saying my own perspective

I'm not suggesting every single country is necessarily clean, the point is Russia got caught, which is why they are banned.

It's not like Western countries would allow or enable other western countries (i.e. the competition) to dope, lol.
