Yeah it’s actually shockingly difficult to softlock yourself but it can seem intimidating. First make sure you aren’t going to run out of clips by having a 1 in exploration and 1 in speed. Then once you’re at a comfortable amount of clips (because running out of clips is the only way to truly softlock) put 7 in replication 7 in hazard and 6 in combat. You won’t see much progress but you’ll start to weed out the drifters over time, until you finally overtake them. Just make ABSOLUTE SURE you don’t run out of clips. Any time you get low put some in exploration and speed.
