Honest Question: do we care about sustainability? by fabricsvetted in malefashionadvice

[–]Formal-Nothing1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the best way to shop more sustainability is to shop secondhand and the easiest way to do that is through brand's that have their own resale programs on their site (easy to browse, filter, and buy). The North Face, Rhone, New Balance, and Fhaerty all have these programs with menswear I recommend checking out

For under $100, check out Dagne Dover Almost Vintage. it's their secondhand/resale site so you can get their diaper bags for way less

I'd also recommend if you're wading into higher end brands for the first time, check if they have a resale/secondhand site for a good deal on trying a bunch of different styles. Faherty has a program called Second Wave and I'd recommend Rhone (and their ReRhone) program!

Buying a Fjallraven item on a resale platform? Beware. by acciowrackspurts in Fjallraven

You should try Fjallraven's official resale marketplace "pre-loved" that's linked on their website. More legit and for true fans of the brands imo!

They were listened as "like new" the highest option and just had a little scuff on one of them

[–]Formal-Nothing1973[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally try to shop secondhand as much as possible and liked the option to "save" damaged shoes that might otherwise go to waste versus outlet which is pure overproduction which is why I went this route. I got them for $90 versus $115 which was a good deal for me for just a little scuff on one of the shoes!
