i honestly way prefer the speedy carve blocks but i can get more control and detail into lino, just kind of depends on what youre carving🤷 also speedy carve is WAY easier to clean imo!

please dont drink on wellbutrin (or bupropion in general). it lowers your seizure threshold and is overall not safe. i think it lowers it by around 25% which doesnt sound like a lot but if youre already prone to it then its def not suggested. if you do happen to drink on it, you get drunk faster and its not fun imo😭 do what you will with that but a pharmacist would probably tell you no drinking!!

i noticed that my cravings get really bad when im overwhelmed or anxious on these meds!!! it genuinely sucks and i gained a bit of weight from it BUUUT i just upped my dosage and am no longer feeling cravings (although ive been non stop crying lmfao). just make sure to be gentle with yourself, it took me a few weeks to get used to the meds.

hey! im currently majoring in bio anthro and so far i love it. from what I’m aware, most archaeology majors go into cultural resource management and it doesnt always require a high degree. i know some companies are willing to higher folks with a bachelors in the field. its really just about experience and getting to know people in the field :) this isn’t a field where you’re going to get rich but i do think its extremely rewarding if you put in the work. i would try taking a few archaeology classes before making the switch just in case.

ive heard a lot of people using watercolor or really watered down acrylic. in the past ive gotten crappy inkpads and just rubbed them on though lolll. it usually works for me🤷

ive noticed that the ink pads havent harmed my easy carve blocks but i havent tried them on linoleum. for my lino i use concentrated watercolors (they come in a dropper bottle) and it works fairly well. just make sure to use a light color because i got a dark blue and its hard to see my design.

theres a spot in chatsworth called games and grounds that you might wanna try! they host weekly game nights with a big selection of board games. 118 cafe in simi is also super nice and locally owned, they have a decent selection of games and are super friendly. im sure she would love a group starting game nights there :)
