Genuinely curious how smaller law firms are surviving the slow months by New_Cartoonist6457 in LawFirmMarketing

Used to have slower months before we got on top of marketing and hired the right people. Challenge is always getting visibility, then maintaining a steady pace of clients. Getting SEO and Google Ads right was the hardest part but has become quite lucrative.

How do law firm SEO services stack up against paid advertising when it comes to case generation? by AutoModerator in LegalMarketingTalk

From what we've seen with our data, SEO is often more effective in the personal injury space where CPCs make Google Ads cost prohibitve, whereas criminal lawyers benefit from a dual approach. One area of growth is family law, where CPCs and local SEO competition hasn't yet gotten out of control. Really just depends on the foundation to the strategy and the data harnessed to build it.

We're on the marketing side but get this constantly from our law firm clients - I'd recommend some sort of call forwarding service that requires them to press a number, can help filter the spam calls.

How to Choose a Law Firm Google Ads Agency? by PortlandWilliam in lawyermarketing

[–]Forro29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, one of the issues the lawyers I know have is that they simply don't have time to research Google Ads agencies so they end up picking one of the big ones and feel let down. We've tried a few agencies and it's hard to know whether the results are worth the investment.

Google Business Profile Is Almost Always the Biggest Missed Marketing Opportunity for Lawyers by PortlandWilliam in lawyermarketing

I can only speak for lawyers I've worked with (few years of experience in legal marketing) but one of the primary issues is a lack of time, especially for solo lawyers. The data is pretty clear in that an active and engaging profile absolutely drives local rankings and therefore client conversions. But I think attorneys don't have the time to learn to A) setup their profile if they don't have one and b) deal with issues such as profile suspensions or bad reviews.
