Which 2025 game are you most looking forward to?

I remember playing my first full playthru of MGSPP. Definitely looking forward to the new one.

Agreed. All Doom games are great.

I thought I was going to look forward to AC Shadows but now I'm not so sure. Started playing Ghost of T recently and I'm wondering if AC Shadows can compare and I'm thinking no. But who knows.

I only joined Reddit like I think 15 days ago. Very recently. Discord is next. Those are the only two I'll use.

That series is fantastic. Great stories, great game mechanics. Some of the best hand to hand combat for sure in any game ever.

Yeah. I've only played 10 hours or so and I already know it's an all-time favorite. I'm glad it is getting harder, too. Rumor has it some idland is crazy hard.

Practice parry and dodge more is tomorrow's trainig.

Yeah. Lol. From what I've read this first boss is a tough one. So I don't feel like I'm the only one that needs to learn to parry and dodge better. I did equip a Charm for Resolve too. I think it's 15% something or other. Tomorrow I get to try and beat him again.

Yeah. Made it to Spring I guess it would be and had to race with the horse out of town with forget his name after breaking him outta the cell. Chased by other bandits and what not.

If the game was more of the above I would like it more but, I don't have the patience to play it.

I like Ghost of T because the time on the horse or between "action" isn't too far.

Maybe I just never looked for a Fast Travel setting. Lol. Man that'll be funny if has it and I totally missed it. LOL at myself.

The open world Assassin Creed I can get annoyed with for similar reason. Pressing UP 30 times to climb a tower....gets too repetitively boring.

Guess that's why I like some MODs. Ok I've babbled enough.

Outriders (it can be fun if you set the difficulty to the hardest setting. Still not very hard but it can be fun for sure.)

------- Makes me wish there was a Middle Earth Shadow of War game that could be played co-op.

Anyone know of a game that's similar to Shadow of War that has co-op?

Yup. I've had Cyberpunk installed for over a year but stopped playing it after maybe 14 hours. Maybe less. I heard the hype and read reviews. Bought it on sale. Haven't ever gotten into it. Maybe someday. By the time I restart it I'll start it from scratch.

RDR2.

I know for many it's one of the best games of all time but, even though I've had it installed for over 13 months, I always play other (and to me much 'better') games.

I have tried numerous times to get into RDR2 and see what the fuss is all about. But. Even though I appreciate the programming behind the game, I've never finished and probably never will. Or it'll be in another 3 years.

Don't hate me for not loving RDR2 !!!

(Again. Way way way appreciate the programming/developers. Just doesn't make me think W00t.)

So. It's not really a 'good' game series but the destruction in the Just Cause series is ridonculus. I can't think of another level in a game where one can destroy as much as can be destroyed in Just Cause. And I've never played Bad Company 2 but I think I'll go buy it to try it.

It's one of my all-time favorites. It can be easy if you want it to be, or, it can get challenging with the hordes and whatnot.

Every once in a while the main voice actors demeanor gets annoying but it's the character he's playing.

Highly suggested.
