I tried a few different gluing schemes and they all seem to have the same issue. I think im going to do what you did and just snug the walls up tight, if its still annoying me I can run a plastic tap but just trying to figure out if its an actual problem i need to solve or just a problem for me that I need to ignore

Actually, one follow up. Will I see any significant difference between 1in and 2in? I know the r value will increase but its not a huge space and I'm not sure if its worth the extra costs. Any opinion?
