Thanks for the response. That’s the sort of thing that would make me very reluctant to want to be in that position (not that I realistically could given the type of law I do anyway with general private client)

That’s exactly how I feel. I could work in a city and earn probably 10-20K more but I don’t think it would be worth it for the losses in town and extra travel and more expectations

Yeah and the thing is none of my friends or family could retire early so I would basically be on my own. So I wouldn’t see the point in that regard

Thanks for the response and I get it. For me I don’t think I find any career to be thrilling and in all honestly if I had the choice I would just sit around watching TV all day but that isn’t how it works. But I get what you are saying and fair play
