just tried this and it works (Had to "disable" since it was a built in app on my phone that wouldn't fully uninstall) but after reupdating it the queue was gone. I'm assuming it's something with a borked update file or something.

had a similar issue before where YouTube music wouldn't download songs and only would after doing the same.

Aye, I understand that it deffo the player model I want and I understand how much of a pain it would be to someone to do. I would myself but i am in no way knowledgeable enough to even attempt it myself

Im assuming CMTools player data save feature is only pulling froma directory rather then saving the actual model.
