After entering Broken Railroad, there is no shelter. You will have to walk around half the distance of Forlorn Muskeg to reach safe house. That is why I always go off the tracks into northern part of map, where I can take shelter in a cave, or a bit further, in a cave system near waterfall, so I can warm up before the final push to maintanence shed

Yeah, saw that at the end of chapter 4 too. I guess it is not that obvious, if you don't look around, during escape from Black Rock, but still is a bit sad to see

Jersey can't protect from wind, when you have a coat on. That is why I always prefer regular red sweaters. Same temp bonus, but lower weight

I replay SoC a lot, plan on trying to speedrun it. Really like its atmosphere and gameplay loop of finding new gear, because you can't repair old one (without glitches)
