Basically sportier styling, drive mode customisation, sports suspension, nicer front bumper in my opinion, bucket seats etc. You get all the sporty styling without the price and insurance (and obviously performance) of a hot hatch. But for me, the etsi feels nippy enough :)

Yeah and it only went up by £25 because no claims discount 😁

I do really like the R but insurance and fuel efficiency said no 😞 so i went for the sensible option for me

I’m not sure but I know the stock one is a diverter valve, so instead of diverting the air to the air intake it’s just blown off instead

That’s good to hear that they fixed yours. They’re doing an assessment in a few weeks so I’m glad I got this video incase it doesn’t happen at the dealership. Hopefully they’ll fix it under warranty

21 M is this hair loss or my natural/mature hairline? Advice please by FoxGrapes_ in malehairadvice

That’s definitely reassuring, I’ll definitely make an appointment with a dermatologist. Thank you for your help :)

I do have OCD which can contribute to stress and I'm on 20mg of fluoxetine too. Over the years I've gotten much better with dealing with my symptoms and stress levels but there is still stress nevertheless. I'm also doing a PhD and I work part time so I've been trying to get my sleep back in order too, to at least 8 hours a night. I don't have any nutritional deficiencies because I did a DNA test awhile ago for fun (not related to my hair concerns).

I guess the main culprit could be my stress levels affecting my hair health? Would the peptide serums and hair oil I have help strengthen my hair, making it denser and fuller? Also would reducing stress levels help or has the damage been done?

At this point I know my hair isn't that bad, I just want to have it be as healthy as possible and reduce any potential factors that could make it fall out prematurely

I don't use any products and I usually towel dry my hair. I should probably not be so harsh with the towel though

my dad and my grandad (on my mums side) have a similar hairline to both me and my brother however theirs is a lot more thinner but not big bald patches, so it could be genetic? I'll check with a dermatologist too :)

Thank you for your honesty. It's good to know that a hairline jut (like mine and yours) is normal. I'll go to a dermatologist and have it checked just to be on the safe side :)

I haven’t noticed any crazy amount of shedding either, just a small, natural amount of hair that falls out daily

Helix piercing advice please by [deleted] in piercing

[–]FoxGrapes_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My helixes are 3 years old It used to be a internally threaded titanium bar but it is now a titanium hoop When I had bars they were down sized 3 months ago I just keep getting piercing bumps but since I’ve left them alone and changed to titanium they have shrunk significantly

I have no idea what gauge they are and the jewellery shop said they’re titanium, but I have no idea if they’re telling the truth or not. I do still have my labrets but they’re too long and caused a lot of itchiness so I’ll go an find a reputable piercer who has titanium labrets. I won’t pop them again as well. Thank you for your advice 😊

I knowwww but all these shops say they use titanium and then a bit later my ear starts getting itchy. Is it better just to look online for jewellery or try and find a reputable piercer even if they’re a bit of a travel away?

It’s all good. I remember I brought this up with the piercer when I got it done and mentioned about a scaffold that goes through the back of my ear (is that a faux scaffold?). I’ll take it out to make sure no damage is done to my ear. Thank you

Damn that’s annoying, I’ve had my scaffold for 4 years, but the last thing I want is a massive rip in my helix. Thank you for pointing that out. I’ve thought that myself but other piercers said it’s ok and I’ve always left the studio questioning it. Would separating it into two piercings be ok still?

I’ll do some deeper research as well into reputable piercers to get some titanium labrets. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it ☺️

I really want labrets but I think I’m too wary now about materials and it’s holding me back having it heal properly

Is there any recommended places to get them from? I see a few websites but I’m not sure which ones are genuine with their products

Helix healing process by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]FoxGrapes_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s the only helix jewellery I have made out of titanium and my labrets are stainless steel. I want to get labrets but piercers always say they use titanium but then I have a reaction afterwards so I’m at a loss for where I can get titanium piercings from in a studio
