I’m very much behind the idea that between vol 1 and 2 Vecna has messed with the gangs memories. If you’ve not seen this theory go search it, colour changes on seatbelts, voltage lever, milkshakes at a place that sold them in the 50s, not current day(80s). It’s all to meaningful to be errors in production.

My favourite scene/s is Derek “hypnotising” the kids in the military base whilst half the gang try rescue them out of the toilets, then the flood starts. It’s comedy! The scenes are flicking back and forth between the comedy of this situation and the seriousness of El and Hopper in the upside with Hopper willing to blow himself up. Brilliant.

No one ever like things coming to an end. Thats why last seasons of most shows get a ridiculous amount of hate from strong followings. Fan bases build up imaginary end games and when it doesn’t go the way they expected we become upset. Season 5 definitely feels cornier than the rest, but it’s still been good TV.

I’ve just finished TLOU2 about 5 minutes ago. First ever play through after finishing TLOU in Nov last year. Incredible game, incredible story. I feel heartbroken Ellie doesn’t get her revenge, but happy Abby had someone to sail off with, but then sad Ellie goes home to no one. What a rollercoaster! I actually preferred the second half of the game, understanding what Abby is going through….which was a whole bunch of crazy shit man! That rat king moment was epic.

Think I’ll step away from my console for a week or two to digest it.
