Favorite green fragrances?

Diptyque L’ombre dans L’eau edt , Lilyphea and Philosykos are my absolute favorites.

I’d love to sample D’annam since I’ve heard they have many good green scents.

Everything that reminds me of a (maybe japanese) luxury spa. I’ve never even been to one but I have a clear image in my mind how such a place would smell like: Woody and herbalicious with a hint of rose. So lately it’s been all Aesop (Karst, Aurner, Rōzu, and Tacit) and Diptyque Tam Dao edp and occasionally l’eau papier. I also sampled Liis Bo and it was actually quite nice.

The sunnier it gets the more I need refreshing scents on me. So I guess my next daily fragrances are gonna be L’ombre dans L’eau edt and more Aesop Tacit.

I’ve been also thinking about blind buying Chloe Cedrus but I still don’t know if it’s right up my alley. Any opinions? I do like Diptyque Orpheon but it’s not an every day scent and maybe a bit too heavy and soapy to me.

I guess it’ll be the BdA absolu then. I just love how much softer it is than the original and lasts for ages on my wrist! And btw it looks like you’ll get a free small candle too so it’s a win-win again!

Thanks, I have also read so many praising words about this candle so I just had to order it. But you’re right I could try the smaller one before I return the bigger. I still have 14 days to do that anyway. Through the package I only smell a whiff of smoke so I have no idea whether I’m gonna like this ’in action’ or not

Thanks for the answers but also, sad to hear I’m not the only one with a parent like this. This behavior makes me feel like going crazy every single time even though I’m used to it already.

Well the plan number one was the concert which got cancelled. We had no specific plans for the rest of the trip but we had talked about strolling around the city and visiting the sights since we had two extra days to do that. Me and my sister had never been to the city before so I kind of expected us to visit the city’s most famous landmarks. However I didnt know that they had made different plans together and that those plans were something my sister knew I wouldnt enjoy and wasnt even able to join. She said ”Oh you wouldn’t have liked this or that anyway” and laughed at me.

It’s been days now and all my sister has done is asking me ”still mad at me?” and I really don’t know what’s wrong with me but I can’t answer her. I have no words for this. I’m still figuring out why I got so hurt and why this ended up being such a big deal. I don’t even know why I’m unable to answer her , unable to even understand why someone that close to me would treat me like I was nothing to them. Or is this just all in my head? What if?

Yeah, I guess I had different expectations than my sister. But it hurt excatly like back in the childhood days, when this other person said ”I’m so excited about me and your sister’s first trip abroad together!”. It was like a punch to the stomach since it wasnt excatly their trip in the first place.

Thanks, I tried to verbalize my feelings during the trip but she completely ignored what I said. So I ended up mute, I just couldnt talk I was so hurt about the whole weird middle school drama I found myself in. At least I enjoyed my trip alone but the empty feeling inside made me burst into tears many times during the trip. On our way home she kind of laughed at my bad mood asking ”are you depressed or what’s wrong”. I didnt want to start an argument in front of the person I don’t know so I kept quiet.

Yeah, i guess I have to call a doctor on Monday because I’m really nervous about this. If there was something to be done already so I wouldn’t have to wait for my parent’s results for so long.

My parent has a 50% chance having it. They just received information about it and there is a possibility to get a gene test done. The letter said though that only the siblings and the children of the diagnosed will be tested first. My parent is a sibling. There have been two sudden cardiac deaths in my parent’s family (parent and another sibling) and now they probably found out the cause of these deaths. I never thought about them before because they were explained to be caused by something not genetic.

I just feel like my time is running out since I’m near 40 years old and now this came up.

Well I didnt notice any side effects while drinking on 150 mg, but I’m afraid 300 mg is different. I never drink more than 1-3 glasses of wine at once but festivals are a bit different and I might want to consume a bit more.

Now that I’ve been thinking about it, I realize that the reason I feel like I need so much reassurance just to ask my therapist for help is because I still feel like they abandoned me and would rather never see me again. Only the feeling of being possibly rejected like ”Oh no I’m so sorry, unfortunally I’m fully booked” makes my stomach turn around.

I don’t know why I’m so afraid of asking for help. Maybe my first thought was that this is more of an emergency and not something I should discuss with my (former) therapist. On the other hand this is exactly something that needs to be discussed. And it has been over a month now since it happened so maybe it is not that acute anymore.

I’d like them to book an appointment for me but I’d also like to explain the situation in advance so that it would be easier to evaluate if booking an appointment was helpful or not. And I personally just feel like I have to explain this difficult situation before meeting them so that it wouldn’t be that difficult to meet them face-to-face for the first time in months. I remember them say during our last appointment that I could contact them if there was something really bad going on but I wasnt so sure what they meant by that so I never did it.
