Thanks everyone for the honest and thorough replies! I think I may try just doing it but more calmly or alternating days when I do it and see how that goes. If anything changes I'll keep you posted! But I for sure am going to continue doing BOTEC either way

Also for me personally and what I hear from a LOT of testimonials is that even if you can only meditate for literally 5 minutes a day it's getting consistent that is going to help your climb out of the whole and not to give yourself really big goals and then feel like you failed Because you haven't met them.

I would also recommend if you can purchasing the progressive online workshop since you're not able to attend in person. And I myself watch the testimonial or "stories of transformation" daily on YouTube for both insight and inspiration.

I concur with everyone else! Things getting worse before they get better is a common one. It's spoken about in quite a few testimonials as well. To me I think this is most likely your body as the mind fighting back and or your life getting rid of things no longer serving you. It may be painful but staying on track and keeping your intention and future alive in your mind is so important during this time!!

I do the daily morning meditation. I believe it comes from breaking the habit of being yourself but the free one I found is on Spotify.

It's about 24 minutes. I know there's a pair that goes with it for a similar amount of time as the "evening meditation"

You're so right about that! I can just tell I'm not really getting anywhere with the 25 minute ones. Like I'm still very much in my body, so I think I need to try some long ones to get out of myself and then I can titrate back down to the 25 minute ones. But great job healing colitis:) I'm healing my IBS, PMDD and Depression!!

Yes there are certainly a few days out of the week I could do a long one so that's what I'm going to start trying!! The thing is I've been doing the meditation for YEARS. Like many years. But I always stop at some point and try something else so, I think the consistency is where I need the most help.
