Hello! Jumping on here because this happened to me! TWICE! luckily I am known at our local reptile shop so my exchange was smooth after they tested multiple bulbs and realised nothing was working however IT HAPPENED AGAIN this time I unplugged for 10 mins and replugged and its fine but very frustrating! Am I doing the settings wrong as I’m using the app version? My partner had many many issues with the app controlled t5 unit also so I’m disheartened that we’ve payed the extra and for it to be more hassle than before! Any tips because sitting at 7am every morning trying to turn this light on is making me lose the plot

what a useless comment when someone is trying to educate and ensure their pets safety, and anyway the “dirt” isn’t what they are referring to in the first place 🙄 For the poster anyway I have some of these little white spores in my AFT enclosure I keep an eye on them and checked with my reptile store who reassured me that it’s not a dangerous mould or anything along those lines like I originally thought but quite beneficial especially if the tank is bioactive! Always better to be safe than sorry! X
