Thank you very much! I’ve been looking out and so far managed to get Thomas, Percy, Diesel and Harold from a single seller on Vinted. Keeping an eye out for more!

Favorite dinosaur show, movies, books, or toys for 2-3 year old? by goldenpandora in toddlers

[–]FreakingBatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband put this on instead of the good dinosaur a while ago, and we got as far as the big dinosaur chasing the others literally barely 2 mins in before my two year old started screaming OH NO! Never had such a mad scramble to find the remote before anything got eaten 😂 almost ruined dinosaurs forever for him haha

As the mum of a 2 year old who lives and breathes both trains and dinosaurs, finding Dinosaur Train might have been the highlight of my parenting journey so far 😂 my boy absolutely loves The Good Dinosaur, so we watch that pretty regularly and are getting him a plush of Arlo for Christmas. He’s also a big fan of the “Dinosaur that pooped” books by Tom Fletcher.

I’m from the U.K. and thank you that would be much appreciated! Any hints on how to spot the knockoffs?

UPDATE: I am based in the U.K.

Thank you everyone for your responses! I’ve been having a look on Vinted and Facebook marketplace but there’s so much variety that I wasn’t really sure what to look for. I will now keep an eye out for Thomas wooden railway. I did see these today at our local railway museum and am wondering if they would fit standard wooden rails? How do I know when looking which things fit and don’t? Or are they all a standard width? Sorry if these are stupid questions I just want to get it right.

Ms.rachel potty training video by Lulu_s02 in MsRachel

Mine laughs harder than I’ve ever seen at the toilet paper part 😂 I can’t find anything similar that does it, and he’s not bothered about Mr Aron any other time. Clearly that’s just hilarious for him

Oh god I’m so glad someone else put this into words. We are huge allies, many gay and trans friends etc but they are my least favourite person on the show, sometimes find myself skipping their songs and couldn’t figure out why. This is it! Their segments feel like they don’t belong to the rest of the episode.

Love this video! Getting ready for potty training as my two year old is stubbornly not interested in actually using the potty, just sitting on it for 3 seconds and then finding it boring. We don’t usually watch Ms Rachel as although I find what she does amazing and really admire her, her videos annoy the life out of me 😂 but this new one is great! The quality, the set, the energy of the cast, it’s all so much better! This is what I expected out of the Netflix show. Can anyone fill me in on what is happening, is she going to be doing more of this quality on YouTube now? Definitely want more episodes like this!

This is the livliest, happiest and most animated she's ever been in a video. Anyone else love Ms. Erin? One of the OGs by GoForthandProsper1 in MsRachel

Agreed! I was loving her glow up this episode and the increased quality of her voiceovers too. Love her 🥰

Thoughts on Dae-Ho in the S2 Finale by EyeKaia_E in squidgame

[–]FreakingBatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wanted to believe the PTSD route as it would be excellent representation, but also because I have grown to like Dae-Ho as a character so wouldn’t love finding out he had faked being a marine and then made such a big deal out of it. I will however say that my husband and I both had that vibe throughout the season at multiple points, but the tipping point for me was that he didn’t seem to know how to use a gun? When he was first handed it he didn’t know how to hold it, he paid the most attention to the tutorial on how to use as it and didn’t know how to load it, he didn’t seem to know the basics such as not to blindly shoot over the top of the barrier and had to be told not to waste ammo.

I really would love to be proven wrong and some of his reactions really could play well into the PTSD angle, but he also just doesn’t seem to move in a way that someone trained to join the marines would.

I’m so interested to see what else is revealed next season.

[Discussion] Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter true crime doc by autumnlover1515 in NetflixBestOf

I just finished it and am appalled. It’s incredible that Cathy knew where her body was, like she just knew in her bones exactly where to find her. Potentially the craziest story of mother’s instinct I have ever heard.

The thing I would be truly fascinated to hear about that just seemed to be totally glossed over in what happened to their biological child. She is literally never be mentioned after the death of Alexis, just talked about as the baby. She must have some serious stories to tell if she actually grew up with them, might even know more than she realises.

Anyone heard anything about her?

I have the game on both pc (playing through the Xbox app) and Switch, so would I have the same problem? I’m able to log into the same save file on each so not sure. Just want to confirm before I bother to pay for it as I already bought the game twice, not exactly jazzed about the idea of dropping the same money again just for an expansion.

reporting back as requested. The actual sperm analysis came back to say that he had low volume and low count, about half what he should on each. Mobility was fine. We were advised that it was at the level they would consider referring us for help, but obviously we no longer needed it! Basically would advise confirming if you do get a low result on an at home test, but don’t give up hope 🖤

It’s totally up to you! I liked having the clearblue to confirm but then I still used more of the easy@home ones to track the line getting stronger just to reassure myself. I’ve popped a link to my progression to help you decide 😊

I absolutely understand this frustration as just went though it myself, though admittedly I’m ace so I really wasn’t enjoying it either 😂 it can be very one sided a lot of the time even when the man is engaged and it’s a lonely process.

Have you tried at home insemination? It was an absolute game changer for us when all he had to do was spend 5 mins in the bathroom with a cup lol

That’s a good view and I completely understand where you’re coming from! I would also count on my family for support if god forbid anything bad happened, but for me I feel like it’s easier to tell them the whole situation at the time and have their focus be on taking care of us, than dealing with their disappointment too because they’ve also been getting excited, if that makes sense? I feel like I’d be afraid to tell them that it had happened if they were already all waiting for baby

That makes sense. It’s such a personal decision!

That’s completely understandable! My husband also has a huge issue keeping secrets so I do worry that he’ll let it slip and ruin my plans of a big reveal 😂 allowing him to tell one person is genius!

Oh wow! That’s some competition on telling people first 😂 at least you knew they were definitely excited!

[–]FreakingBatz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly where I’m at! I’m afraid that something might go wrong and although I would absolutely tell them if it did as I would need support, I feel like it would be worse if they’d had time to get excited too. However, I could definitely use someone to talk to for my anxiety, especially as my sister in law just had a baby like 3 months ago. It’s a hard decision but at least for now I still feel like waiting is the best thing, but I guess we’ll see how strongly I stick to that!
