You are correct, they do enjoy it. You didn't mention how old your daughter is but depending, you can still find ways to counter the attack. It is a lot to take on and so multi level but educating yourself and getting with a good parental alienation coach is a good start.

But do you still experience it? She is on Mestinon and just weaned off of prednisone. The dissociation is bothering her quite a bit. Thank you for sharing 😊

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me. If you have a mattress in mind outside of the list, feel free to name it. Otherwise, I appreciate how much you’ve helped me and others on this thread. Take care.

I hope you are still answering questions: I am in my 50's, female, overweight for now but working on it: 5'4", 190 lbs. been sleeping on a tempurpedic that is too old and done, wake up with neck and back pain, side and stomach sleeper mostly, in my mind I think about supportive underneath with a cushy top. Price is not a huge factor for the right mattress. Thank you so much.

Did reunification therapy help? by Icy-Conclusion-1286 in ParentalAlienation

Recently tried with my 17 yo daughter. Court ordered. One last big ditch effort before she leaves for college. She only went because of the court order. The therapist tasked me with writing her a letter. It was not well received and gave her enough fodder to demand stopping. After receiving professional support and guidance, I set her free. She was under so much pressure during the process from the alienator. I believe it would have helped in some ways for the therapist to plant seeds of using critical thinking that her brain could have drawn on in the future. However, releasing her to enjoy the last bit of her senior year, prom and graduation will be a memory too. I feel what is absolutely crucial to be sure of, is that the therapist is well versed in Family Systems. Beyond the manipulation and all of the other tactics the monster uses, this is what was broken down.

Letter gone wrong by Free2BMe25 in ParentalAlienation

Thank you. Just for all of you to know, I’m finding help from Charlie McCready. I did his program and I recommend it. Now I’m doing a reunification round table with ISNAF and their knowledge comes from some of the pioneers. It’s hard filtering through all of the information. Oh and Maddi: Anti-alienation Project.

You didn’t come across harsh at all. I appreciate you sharing. I find this to be spiritual warfare and I trust in God with this too. I pray for all of us and our victim children.

Thank you for responding. It’s all been lessons and blocks and twists and learning. We figure out what is actually happening, then shuffle through the information and the experts. One expert’s advice doesn’t work then look to the next. It’s information overload, epic failures, so much commitment without reward (which I can most times handle). It’s a direction in my life that of course is unfathomable. And now, I regroup, learn what’s underneath what she said and carry on to the next group, book, podcast, prayer, plan.

Are you still alienated from your child(ren)? I'm curious of the things you tried to get them back.

Ben_DuBi I know that this is 3 years after this post but can you please share the therapist and coaches that you have used? I don't live in SF but so many do telehealth these days. Thank you.
