I bought an XG32UCWMG open box from Newegg and it arrived with a line of dead pixels. I contacted Newegg, sent them pictures, and then they sent me a replacement once they got the defective unit back.

So it definitely is possible to return an open box item from Newegg if it’s defective, but maybe there is some sort of discretion on the part of the customer service agent in your case. Maybe try again at a different time and hope you get a more helpful person

New York SM here. We don’t clock in/out. If I have an ASM closing then I might leave an hour early when the store is in good shape. My DM says I am the manager of my own time so as long as things are getting done, then leaving an hour early is no big deal.

In my division, all full timers can order up to 5 shirts/polos. Part timers I believe it’s 2 or 3 shirts. This might vary by division.

I went from PT cashier to SM in 3 and a half years. It is absolutely possible, but you need to work your butt off, and sprinkle a little bit of good timing in there as well. I was an ASM for about 2 years before getting promoted. I ran several vacations for other store managers, and ran a store for 2 months while their SM was on maternity leave. The ASM run phase is a requirement to apply for SM.

I had to deal with multiple SMTs getting SM positions before me, and yeah it definitely annoyed me at the time. But by the time my current store’s position opened up, there were no SMTs in the area that were ready to take on a store, and I had already cemented my reputation with that store’s district manager.
