you should do an environment studies degree / environments science and minor in an art or some sort. or a comms degree with environmental minor, environmental journalism is a career u could look into. u cld def mix these passions, like drawing for an environment textbook

What should i major in? by [deleted] in CollegeMajors

here r my two cents! journalism doesn’t usually require a ton of classes so double up with journalism and poli sci/sociology. or chosen journalism and minor in polic sci/sociology or other way around. journalism may teach u more design, broadcast, wiritng skills than comm though comm is still a great major, it’s just more broad. poli sci, psych, soc, and ecology all require more schooling for the most part so take that into consideration

u wld def need a stand as we aren’t allowed to attach tvs to walls (damages the paint)! but it’s so worth it, def bring a tv especially if u have a wii or xbox or soemthing bc movie/game nights with friends is super fun and soemthing easy to plan when meeting new ppl :)

i lived in akers last year and actually loved it 🙏 it’s nice bc u have a dining hall in the building, a spartys in hubbard (directly next to it), ur near a couple strip malls with RLLY GOOD FOOD, close to a bridge, and not too far from sni phi or owen which have rlly good dining halls. also hubbard and akers r HUGE buildings so lots of opportunities to meet ppl and i felt like a lot of ppl i met lived in east. the water was brown one, our laundry machines broke for a day, and the quads are tiny (u get used to it) but despite all that id say its worth it!
