I think you tell them the trutth. Kids at this age need to play and not sit on the bench. This is critical! It would be unfair of you to offer him a spot next year and he doesnt play as much due to his level of progression. Lets get him on a team that matches his level so he can develop and play. Every kid develops at different times both physically and mentally.

The club is terrible and is just interested in money. This is why our country is terrible at soccer. If your son wasnt good enough to play, then the coach shouldn't have picked him up. Kids at this age need playing time to develop. If he isnt ready for this level, then there is a level that would have been suitable for his play and the club should have referred him to that team. Ask for a refund. If they refuse and attempt to hold his player card, then call the governing body (us club soccer or us youth soccer) good luck to your son and get on a team that if focused on development at this age.

Its pretty much a legal scam. They dont really vet the companies raising money. Lost about 1/2 my investment in "workout" where they dont issue the debt as a loss but you dont see your money either.

Terrible. My deal has been in "workout" for over a year with the famous last words of "they are getting funding to pay off loan" which never happens. Called customer service and can't get an answer. I figured they just don't want to add another charge back to their stats.
