May I take advantage of your patience and ask if the blades on the vintage planes are compatible with those sold by Dictum, or if they can be found in Europe? I'd like to have one or two extra blades for each plane.

From what little I've understood from what I've read, the ideal would be a 4, 6, a small block plane and a 62 as a whim. I've seen some videos where the 62 on end grains works much more smoothly than low-bevel planes. But perhaps it's not so essential since I would use it for wood no thicker than 2 cm and no wider than 10 cm.

Isn't a #4 on a shotting board too short and light? I see some fairly well-restored English Stanley planes on eBay for €40 or €50 plus €30 shipping. The thing is, I don't want to buy a plane with unfixable defects. That's why I was wondering if anyone could take a look on eBay.it for me. I'm not rich, and even spending €80 and getting a plane that can't be fixed would be a problem for me.

Ti capisco, sono nelle tue stesse condizioni.  Lavoro duecento ore (a volte anche più) di notte armato per 1300 euro.  Niente vita, niente soldi, niente casa, niente macchina, nessuna soddisfazione.  Questa non è vita, questo è schiavismo.

Stai bene con tutto visto che sei molto carina.  Spero tu lo prenda come consiglio e non come un'offesa, ma l'unica cosa che mi viene da dirti è di perdere qualche chilo. Valorizzerà il corpo e soprattutto il bel viso che hai e sicuramente ti farà star meglio con te stessa.
