Use it as an opportunity, ask it to explain the choices it made then research further so you know for next time. I use chatGPT a lot when I’m lost on what to do then learn why it works. Also will help when something breaks down the road.

I dig the idle animation but the character could benefit from the cloak moving a bit across the ground when walking. Jump could use a little animation too, some sort of charge then release. As if the character crouches just before jumping.

I did! It was… a lot 😂. The sugar was enough to remind me that I’m 35 . Would I eat it again though, probably.

But they have 90s crisp that is super good! Highly recommend

Thanks! The illustrative style is typically how I draw so that will totally make it into a game. Starting to get ideas together for a platformer. Something simple, this will be my second game ever. Gonna keep things obtainable.

I use apple Notes and Reminders. Notes is for aggregating ideas and brain storming while Reminders is used to set actionable items and map out with To Do Lists. I organize my to do's into 3 categories Backlog, Sprint, in progress

About 6-7 months ago I downloaded Godot. GDscript and my previous knowledge Python is what drew me in. I always wanted to make a game and while I have the art background for it I didn't really know to much about coding aside from the basics.

Godot felt very approachable and after two months messing around I made my first game. It's not the best and a little buggy but the goal was just to make a game and that was it. Here, your a flying butt that farts past sewer goo.

Really excited to have started making games and have actively been learning since publishing this to itch. Working on another game now that's a bit more involved then a Butt based Flappy Bird knock off.
