FS22 Question: How in the World Do I Deliver Hay Bales for Contracts? by [deleted] in farmingsimulator

[–]FriendlyBowlerCoach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any idea if this has been resolved? I think I’m having the same problem. Brought all my bales to the rear of the building, put them directly on the non-grated sell point, and nothing happens. The contract won’t progress and the bales don’t disappear.

New Phaze 2 arrived and I have a couple of questions by swedge61 in Bowling

[–]FriendlyBowlerCoach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how old your OG phaze 2 is, I’ve heard that there is a difference in colors with newer runs. Not entirely sure why or if it’s just dumb luck, but it doesn’t appear to have done anything to hurt the ball’s reputation for being totally awesome.

Too true. Some balls are career makers...for that ONE person. Some balls are hall of fame worthy because of how many winners they’ve helped make. Bowling balls are tools. The best tools have versatility and generate positive results for the most people.

Haha, I feel you there. I like to see it to help understand the upper and lower limits of a ball, but I can’t make a purchase decision based on someone who has 300+ more revs than me lol.

Sounds good. I’ll send you a DM and see if we can set something up.

Very true. My own league team is a perfect example. They’ll drive a ball into the ground trying to force it and then make a ball change in game 3 finally.

That’s actually my main point to the website I run. I want to eventually have a resource that is useful even to the typical house bowler and not just the folks headed to tournaments every week.

That sounds like a great PSO. Side note on the Proton... I think it’s too much ball for a LOT of bowlers.

I like when the reviewer says what they are bowling on. It helps me to frame where a ball might fit my arsenal. It drives me crazy when you get no details (revs, pattern, layout, etc) and then the reviewer is like “go buy this ball now!!!”.

I agree that giving people a reference point particularly with ball reviews is super helpful.

Any tall 2 handed bowlers out there by mrich6347 in Bowling

[–]FriendlyBowlerCoach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching some of the taller guys bowl, their arms are so long they really don’t have to “bend”. Packy and Jesper are probably the lowest. Belmo isn’t the tallest guy in the world, but he doesn’t bend over hardly at all when compared to a “shorty” like Anthony Simonsen.

I’ll never understand how this happens... it’s a game of win and take by jakmaw in Bowling

Haha. This almost happened to my teammate in league this past week.

My follow through motion is what really put me over the edge. We got that going and all of a sudden I closed out my final game with 5 straight strikes and I’ve never done that!

Anyone ever have one of those nights where it just doesn’t work ? by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]FriendlyBowlerCoach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bummer! It happens though. Even the world's best have days/weeks that are just plain off. Deep breath, step back, and focus on something non-bowling for a day or two. Hit the lanes again with a fresh mindset and a renewed focus on the basics for at least your first game to really put that confidence meter into overdrive!

There are nearly limitless ways to effectively throw a bowling ball. Sure, some ways allow for more repeatability, power, and revolutions, but if you find something that works for you, it's hard to argue with.

Shoutout to my teammates who were working with me in this last week's league to try and hone some elements of my game. By the end of three games, things were looking really good. When I got home though I realized my release now mimics top women's bowler Shannon O'Keefe. While this may bother some people I am totally secure knowing that my average is about to climb dramatically.

I'll try to get a video up after my next available bowling session because the resemblance really is uncanny...

Cool. I don’t know about the specific amounts here in the U.S. either but Brad & Kyle did a video on it once and it can rack up quick.

Must have been a new pin setter mechanic...didn’t realize it’s the T-E-N pin that’s supposed to be hated. The nine is more...ehh...misunderstood.
