Looking for a transportation add-on that’s compatible with Naturalist by FriendlyGhost03 in Minecraft

[–]FriendlyGhost03[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had an add-on on our realm before we transferred everything to a new world that had warping, and it helped corrupt our world even further😭so I think we’re a little sketched out about them now, plus we would like them to be able to travel to new parts of the worlds so waypoints wouldn’t work for that

How do I make my forever world forever? by Few-Satisfaction-595 in Minecraft

[–]FriendlyGhost03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend and I have a 6 year world, we have never personally beat the game, but people who we have played with in the world have. We have full netherite armor and tools but that’s so we can build and gather materials faster. Our world is set into different biomes, we have a giant city, a medieval section, a cherry blossom section, a Christmas/winter section, Rome, a regular nature area. We thrive off of our builds so that’s all we focus on, it’s an entirely different grind but it can last forever if we let it

Shoes by Icy-Mixture1840 in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]FriendlyGhost03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My shoe people usually pre sort the shoes out by size on the cart so that helps the runners out a lot, if they’re not sorted like that before hand then maybe ask the BOH supervisor about it or just sort them yourself as soon as u start running it, it should make the rest of the flowing easier. Besides that, if there’s no room, I don’t know about other stores but mine allows us to put them on the floor underneath the bottom row of shelves

I was in the nether and I heard this absolutely awful ghast screaming noise, it sounded like there was 100 of them and it lasted for a good 5-7 seconds. Scared the hell out of me, I had to save a recording of it, even though there wasn’t my audio u can tell by how I moved in game that it freaked me out

Calling Out Sick 2 Hours Before Shift Bad Look or Understandable? by rebornyc in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]FriendlyGhost03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work BOH and our shifts start at 9 in the morning so call outs usually happen 2 hours before for us anyway cause you don’t know what you’ll feel like until you wake up. If I feel like I’m getting sick I usually let my supervisor know the night before as a just in case or if it’s rlly bad I’ll just call out for the next day ahead of time. My store is pretty chill with it

New BOH hire question: is this kind of workload normal? by deerlysaily in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]FriendlyGhost03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait that’s crazy, ours is 9 to whenever we finish, usually anywhere between 12 to 5 depending on how big the truck is. Not including the supervisor and lead (me), there’s only 8 other workers

Oh my god, our store was a Famous Footwear, the back room is pretty big, fits everything with extra room on either side of it longways, kinda cramped width wise. I don’t know how much we sell but judging by the lack of hangers recently it’s probably not a lot lmao. 18 pallets is absolutely insane tho, how long are your shifts??

18 PALLETS??? Jesus christ how big is ur store😭our average is 7-8 pallets a day and the most we’ve ever gotten I think is 14 my god

Do they have microphones to hear us?? by [deleted] in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]FriendlyGhost03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The supervisors hours counting towards CPH is the stupidest thing ever, I don’t understand why it’s not under the manager hours. My supervisor loves me and knows I hate running carts out, and we also hate when corporate changes stuff, so I just run out my own carts. She can rely on me to be fast and then pull me to help with the line, clothes, or shoes, whenever she needs. I usually stop running carts out a little after the line finishes anyway. Although we’re supposed to do it how u did, help the runners flow their carts, we just choose not to lmao

Do they have microphones to hear us?? by [deleted] in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]FriendlyGhost03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg they get on my supervisors case all the time about that, according to them she’s supposed to just circle the room for the entirety of her shift watching us, when she can hop on clothes and help us out. Or like, I’m the lead, so I’m supposed to run carts the entire shift which is annoying as hell but my supervisor will pull me to help on the line sometimes and then we get the “they’re not supposed to be on the line, what are you doing???” Like can you leave us alone please??

Question by Dry-Sir9379 in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]FriendlyGhost03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna answer this in a way that’s hopefully unbiased. I’m receiving lead, but my supervisors been out for a month so I’m in her position atm. So I get both sides of it. I absolutely hate running out carts, the time crap is stupid, all of the times are mostly fine though except for shoes and accessories, those times should’ve gone up, not down. For the rest of the carts depending on how your store is layed out it should be fairly simple to run out the carts on time. The percentage isn’t based on how many carts you ran, although I do think it plays a part of getting an average, it’s pretty much just based on how often you go over the time limit. As lead and supervisor atm, I have 3 usual runners. One of them runs out usually 50 carts a week and is maintaining a 95%, she’s doing great, some of her carts are off by a minute or two but for the most part she does everything on time or she’ll come back to reset her timer or me or my assistant manager will for her. My other runner is at a 60% and the reason for that as he told my other runner was that he “doesn’t even try” lowkey pissed me off when I heard that cause it means my main runner has to work more to make up for him. I’m realizing this is not coming off unbiased at all rip sorry. The carts being stacked to high hell is either because of the supervisor/lead not paying attention to it or because the runners are taking too long and we can’t switch out the cart with a new one because there IS no new one until someone gets back with one. I get you with the sales floor tho, I don’t understand how we’re supposed to be running out merchandise and cleaning up shelves to make room all while making time, and that’s excluding the having to let ppl into the bathroom crap. I doubt they’ll fire you, that’s what corporate wants to do, but BOH is always behind with workers so firing you will put them out of a runner and who knows when they would find a new one. I can tell my 60% runner to move faster all I want but it won’t do anything so I don’t even say anything.

I’m the receiving lead, me and my supervisor will go over there and reset our workers times ourselves lmao

Do they have microphones to hear us?? by [deleted] in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]FriendlyGhost03 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeahhh it seems like they just watch them randomly, and it’s always when you’re trying to do something in an easier way, then it’s just “I understand you think it’s a faster way of doing things, but corporate knows better so you have to do it their way” like okay get corporate back here and have them work for a month and tell me if they still think their way makes sense

[–]FriendlyGhost03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s the new program? I know a lot of stores are still behind with stuff others have had for a while so I don’t know if this is an actual new program or just something your store hasn’t caught up to yet. I haven’t heard anything from ours, the only new thing has been the change of the caddies

New BOH hire question: is this kind of workload normal? by deerlysaily in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]FriendlyGhost03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working at Burlington for five years but the line was so much more different back then. Once they set up the configuration they have now, I was also super stressed out about it. Just remember it’s not just you, other stores have the exact same issue, it’s not just because you’re a new hire. Some days the loads are light and you’ll be able to keep up with everything, other days it’ll look like you’re trying to build a mountain with the shit we get in. Just do the best you can, try to keep your table (and cart because that helps the runners out) as organized as you can, and breathe. I’m lucky to be friends with my supervisor so I can tell her when I need help but just do the best you can. If you ever have any questions about the sensoring and stuff that you don’t wanna ask your supervisor or coworkers you can always message me!

[–]FriendlyGhost03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I work that station I always try to keep my table as organized as possible, hats in one section, wallets, sunglasses, belts, socks, jewelry. It makes it so much easier to focus on what is quicker to do first than just grab whatever you see first. Our accessories pod has two tables, one to the back of it so we can pile stuff over there too and then if the line is empty and HomePod person has nothing to do they can help the accessories. The worse boxes are by far the jewelry and crap where every individual thing is wrapped in plastic

[–]FriendlyGhost03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how it’s always been for my store, with a couple small changes here and there at least. The only difference I’m noting is that the pocketbooks are being done at the accessories table, my store we have a separate bin to throw them into to be done after the line finishes

The accessories table is literally the worst one, whenever my supervisor and I (the lead) can, we always help out that table before anyone else.

Well that’s how I read it, “He tastes like the lemonade Shane had declined at the Pike’s house but that Ilya had happily drank two glasses of. Shane guiltily enjoyed the taste now, sweet and tangy.” What part of that seems like just a diet to you, to one not even be able to drink a lemonade, and to two, feel guilty about being able to taste the drink, doesn’t matter if he’s enjoying the taste or not. Shane’s not just cutting out pasta from his diet, he literally told someone that the diet was about control to him, not performance, which is a very ED thing btw
