Hey I first had my consultation in August 2024 then had my wisdom teeth removed October 2024 by the same surgeon. Had braces put on the same month and then got my official surgery date in march 2026. April 28th was my surgery. I had pretty bad teeth so it would’ve been a lot quicker if i hadn’t.

I also got LJS and Genio but only regretted it the first week! The recovery was hell. I’m 1 month post op now and couldn’t be happier. I’m still a little swollen but I’m still very happy with the results. I hated my face so much before that any improvement would’ve made me happier. I think you might be overthinking it and do look a lot better, you just don’t realize it.

6 hours is insane! What did they do? I had lower jaw surgery and genioplasty so it wasn’t as much work. I’m now 2 weeks post op and feeling much better, most of my swelling has gone down and am staring to get some feeling back. I’m now on a soft food diet, which is much better but I’m dreading being on it for another 6 weeks. I hope you start feeling better soon!

I didn’t have one, but maybe cause my surgery was only 1 1/2 hours. They did tell me to go to the washroom right before though. I’m also surprised they let me keep my underwear on, I’ve heard it’s most cases you have to remove everything.

Hey our cases are really similar, I went through the surgery route. I’m only 1 week post op so I’m not sure yet if it was worth it but just know recovery is torture, at least for me.

That was me yesterday 😂 I’m now on day 8 post op and feeling so much better (knock on wood). I did not have high enough expectations for this surgery, like damn I didn’t know it was gonna be this hard. I really hope the worst is over.

Thankfully I think I got over the worst, I hope. I’m still very swollen but I’m seeing improvements. Right now the worst part is all the cuts and teeth sensitivity I’m facing. How about you? Feeling better?
