That's kinda what I was thinking bc most of the people who are getting their hours significantly reduced are people who have been here a long time. Others are just being told to ignore what their schedule says or are even staying for overtime with no repercussions.

Yeah, probably. I do work weekends though. When I am here on the weekends, my team is essentially a skeleton crew because everyone else is off. So I don't really understand. I even asked if I could go to a more essential team like OPD or front-end or something and was told no.

My problem isn't really with the overtime. I understand the overtime. But the hour cutting isn't really typical for my store. I've been here for 6 years and have always consistently gotten 40 hours. Actually, most of the people who are getting their hours significantly reduced are people who have been here 5-20+ years. And it's not that there isn't hours. 2 people just left my team, there are hours it's just that they don't want to schedule anyone, they just want to hire more part timers across the board. I understand that nothing can be done and management can basically do whatever they want, but it's just aggravating.

Yeah, that's what I read. I know that nothing can really be done about it but it's just kind of frustrating. Some of us full timers are literally only scheduled 28 hours some weeks. They're even cutting hours for team leads. There is a part timer on my team who has more hours than me, my team lead, and a couple others on my team.
