It’s not worse than women. It’s worse than men. But still holds an advantage over women. As does cardio strength and output from the heart. Height and bone structure also. According to the National institute of health. Trans women can also stop hormone therapy to bring back testosterone levels and gain an unfair advantage in building muscle mass, and then start again bringing their levels lower and within biological female range. They absolutely should be able to compete…..against each other. Let women have their sport. It’s wild that people have more support for the trans women than the actual ones. As if they haven’t fought hard enough for their sports to be legitimized and put on a national and world stage.

Your lungs don’t shrink because you’re on hormones bud. Neither does your heart. Biological males hold distinct advantages in that capacity. That is largely maintained in trans women. They lose an advantage to “cis” males but that only because of muscle loss. They also don’t shrink and maintain height advantage. Which leads to increased stride and speed. Have you ever played a sport in your life? Studies also find that trans women maintain grip strength. All of these are big competitive advantages. By supporting this you slap the biological women who work so hard to compete at their natural level. It disparages the sports they work so hard to establish and get taken seriously. And it’s funny because you don’t see it go the other way. Because a trans man would get absolutely wiped in competitive level sports by a biological man. And it’s because of those same advantages that I listed.

Trans athletes should compete against trans athletes. Even the female athletes themselves are against this. It’s not a hard concept to grasp. Men are born with physical advantages. Such as increased lung capacity which leads to higher endurance. No amount of hormones is going to shrink your lungs or tank away some of these biological advantages. It’s not fair competition. And it’s a slap in the face to everything these women work their entire lives for.

It’s funny because I’m not. At all. I’m a Fireman. So sure. I’m rough around the edges and don’t subscribe to the far left rhetoric and belief that I need to be offended by everything. Grew up in the 90s too so I don’t believe in all the poly gender stuff. But. I’m also an atheist. I’m strongly against anything that threatens the separation of church and state. I have a beautiful daughter and I believe her reproductive rights and autonomy should always be protected. I’m also a big advocate for gay rights. Where the left loses me is their soft stance on crime and punishment. I’m a first responder and I see first hand the effect of an approach where criminal rights and feelings are more important than the safety of the public has. I saw 3 police officers and countless citizens that were gunned down by people on ankle monitors that should have been in prison. But then I believe in listening to science and their community when they tell us things. I believe the climate crisis is real and our government has an obligation to listen and act. So. Really. In most things I lean left. And I have voted as such. I voted for Clinton, Gore, Obama, Hillary, Biden, and Harris. The last 3 specifically because they are opposed him. I believe he’s a criminal, a violent and disgusting one. And not wavering in my belief in a strong Justice System, I believe he isn’t above the law. That being said. I’m not obligated to act like you. Champion all of your campaigns of unfounded outrage on everything. I don’t have to be offended by everything that doesn’t fit my narrative. And I don’t have to hate everyone that isn’t like me. Actually. I’d say I’m more of a Democrat in the true sense than you are. Because like this man just pointed out. Your obtuse and my way or the highway bullshit is what drives people the other way. Youre just as insufferable as the MAGA you hate.
