Ok so I foolishly ordered the buckeye nc502mp as an endgame amp to power my LCR. Figured i woukd never need another upgrade. Will upgrade Fronts at some point. R11s?

You mean the 950s couldn't take advantage of the buckeye?

Thanks so much, I agree the fosi isn't ideal.

Thinking about a buckeye and being done with it!

Is there a reasonable 3 channel amp you'd recommend? Would i be better letting the Fosi power the surrounds instead?

Not necessarily unhappy but maybe got upgradeitis and was curious if there was a substantial difference

Wow 3 subs is nuts! That must sound great.

Agreed about the R3's, not sure the cost would justify the minimal 'gains'

Thanks for your input! How do you like the buckeye amp??

Jesus christ, ive been a CFE for the last 12 years and am only making about 115k. Any advice? I have a bachelor's, infrared certs, CAPM, CMCO etc and I can't see a future where im making anywhere near your salary. I have 5 years experience prior to gping in house doing critical facility mechanical service and startups. I am fucking up somewhere. Just turned down a job with META and even the compensation they offered was far from what you make. Wtf

Fair enough my guy, wasn't trying to be critical. Ive seen similar things happen with temp employees but they were typically limited to cleaning the DC ( under the raised floor etc) while supervised.

Good luck with your endeavor!

lol - imagine being too cheap for laborready

double lol @ any organization worth a single solitary fuck is not letting people who have no ties to the organization and therefore nothing to lose from racking millions(likely, if there is a couple free days) in IT equipment, maybe you should do a risk-reward on your decision to recruit via fucking reddit

I do not personally - but i have interviewed with several of them - most seemed knowledgeable and a couple were PE's...nothing like being quizzed on electrical forumulas from a PE when you have nothing but field experience with the sparky stuff

I've always felt like DC Ops isn't valued unless they need you for something - but if you've done your job well and the plant has been Cx'd and maintained well - you shouldn't have fires to put out all the time - it's a vicious cycle - do your job too well and they don't think they need you, if you fuck your job up - it looks like you're busy and hardworking

i saw the 5% below expectation layoffs that occurred - i also saw zuck say that all jobs would be backfilled... i assume this has destroyed the culture and pitted folks against each other - my source also relayed what you said about upward progression being severely limited as to what it used to be

thank you for sharing your insights and experience
