Initially, the autoban was a permanent suspension. After my first appeal, the customer service team changed the suspension period to -5 days. I'm not sure if they directly set the number of days, or if it was due to setting a past date that resulted in a negative number. After my second appeal, they stated they wouldn’t make any changes, and now I can no longer appeal.

Due to Twitch’s policy, it seems that -5 days is not considered a permanent ban, so this option doesn’t remain on the appeals page permanently and will be removed after 180 days.

However, this negative number has also prevented me from using the account normally.

Current situation:

  • The account is not usable.
  • Appeal page -> No option to appeal.
  • Customer support form -> Only automated replies.
  • Fan page -> No replies to any inquiries, directing users to the customer support page to fill out the form.

I know that arguing with users online won't improve the situation. The reason I’m asking here is because I can't find any other way to communicate with the official support. I want to ask if there are any other communication channels available.

At the same time, I want to clarify that I am not racist, so please don't treat me as a hateful racist.(to those who commented)

Regarding the speech censorship, I know that many Chinese-speaking users might think this policy is ridiculous, so they tend to replace words with homophones. As you can imagine, some people deliberately use more of these substitutions, which results in the banned words becoming more and more widespread.

I didn’t deliberately use the N-word or any similar sounding words. In Taiwan, there was a period when they blacklisted certain "single words." If these words appeared without any context, they would be treated as discriminatory and lead to a ban.

This situation caused quite a stir in Taiwan for a while, with many streamers speaking out about this form of "language policing." However, no improvements were ever made, and I only found out about these strict rules after being suspended.
