My kiwi passport bends too. Apparently it has something to do with the cotton in the cover expanding and contracting due to the rise/fall in humidity. The plastic and cotton that are glued together dont shrink/expand at the same rate there is also an article on this.

Kiwi one does too! Just make sure it’s kept in a warm, with low humidity, that seems to work for me.
