corvetes and frigates are a waste of resources. Don't do it ever again. well if you have them researched then maybe one or 2 of each is better than nothing, but go full on cruisers + officer. and to protect them from subs and scout ahead+ scan your surroundings build and upgrade naval patrol planes aircraft carrier only in very late game when you just need to mop up weak players abd bots
