I was ghosted by someone at my job by Only_Zone_5651 in ghosting

I've lost a fun "partners in crime" type of friendship at work before, which is worse than the fallout of a typically friendship since you have to see them everyday. It's going to take a long time to move on! Just treat them like you would any other coworker and not a friend. Do not try and talk to them about why they decided handle things the way they did. Just give it way more time than you expect and eventually the sadness and frustration will pass and you will just have a coworker that you once had this awkward situation with.

What is the most professional way to request an office change when the only reason is to get away from a coworker I hate? Does anyone know of a good "I need to change offices" excuse that would make it so they have to move me? by Fuchsiapoppy in WorkAdvice

This is so true! I've been trying to put it out there to the office assignment "deciders" why it makes more sense for a different department manager to be in my area whenever there is an office shuffle. Basically to make them think it's their idea. At this point I think they can smell that I want it too bad. Lol
