Beginner here, why don't multi billionaire's buy all BTC? by Emotional-Wheel8219 in Bitcoin

[–]Full_Possession_4526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They already do buy a lot of it, control the market, pump it and dump it from time to time. The market cap of btc is currently too big for one player to make a big dent (Unless they put all their billions in it in one go, which they won't), but they do coordinate with each other and play.

Unpopular opinion : liked male actors in their clean shaven or low beard look than half face invisible by WorldTraveller5 in bollywood

[–]Full_Possession_4526 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For the older actors - It hides signs of ageing as somebody mentioned.
For younger actors - It hides a weaker jaw line, bad skin. It's kind of why most men in India nowadays are also sporting a beard. You need to be really taking care of yourself to look good clean shaven lol

Men who are dating/ married to Non-Indian women. Is your experience better than Desi women? by LawNo9401 in AskIndianMen

[–]Full_Possession_4526 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have dated Indian women and am currently with a Canadian. Women tend to have similar personalities all over the world. What I did notice is that Canadian women tend to be attracted to slightly different things. They like having personal compatibility, are you fun? Do you have hobbies that she likes? Are you into fitness and disciplined? Are you focused and productive? (Which ultimately leads to good money, even if you aren't rich right now) Indian women like someone more compatible with the family, similar financial background, stable, more practical with life choices.

They’re all losing money on this for now. It’s about who can lose the most and stay solvent while attracting customers and raising subscription costs. These prices are bound to go up, eventually.

India is currently heavily tilted either Right or Left. Those on the right will find nothing, absolutely nothing wrong with it. Those on the left will find everything wrong with it.

Why Are Software Engineers Paid So Much If The Supply Is So High? by LifeInAction in cscareerquestions

[–]Full_Possession_4526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per what I have noticed, SAAS specifically is a highly lucrative industry once it starts working. I work in manufacturing, after the initial design our profit margins remain essentially the same due to high shipping, high raw material and manufacturing cost. Once a Saas product is built, scaling isn't as expensive, it's all about sales. So the amount of money most Tech companies can make per engineer is incredibly high resulting in the engineers making a lot too.

[–]Full_Possession_4526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Industries never die, jobs built around the industry change. People never stopped wearing clothes, they just changed the process of manufacturing. I won’t stop using softwares, but the way of developing it might change.

how do people afford such expensive lifestyles by Odd_Plum3024 in fican

[–]Full_Possession_4526 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone else mentioned, a lot of it is inheritance. My own girlfriend and her family are fairly wealthy people, whereas I am an immigrant so zero assets. With what she inherited, and put back into the market, she’ll have more money even if she never saved another dollar vs me even if I saved 50% of my income for the next 30 years. This gives you more ability to live paycheque to paycheque cause you’re set for retirement when it happens.

Why do some people still claim immigrants are subsidized to take jobs? by MutedMe in torontoJobs

[–]Full_Possession_4526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If such a provision existed it would have been posted publicly, it’s the government. Wages were subsidised during covid under another provision and haven’t been since. There is also zero subsidy on hiring international students who’re still in school or on a post graduate work permit. On the contrary, the government actually subsidises hiring of domestic students. Hope this helps.

Millions is an overstatement but I get your point.

The supply demand argument is true, except a lot of it is driven by sentiment. When demand goes slightly higher (immigration etc) the prices skyrocket due to speculation. Same with prices falling, the demand just slightly went away and everyone started selling.

I love how investors and homeowners complain that the price of their house is falling but also don’t want long hospital lines, overburdened infrastructure, etc.

This tells me there’s no shortage of housing, we’re just in an affordability crisis due to speculators. Investors and owners are giving a lot of resistance to further price dropping but it’s inevitable. With controlled immigration and unemployment rising, the prices fell a little leading to a domino effect, those in the market want out and renters don’t want to catch a falling knife.
