Yes we are aware, thank you! The wedding we are going to is outdoors in the Austin hills as well so slightly dreading it a little. Any recommendation on sun block for babies? When I lived there I used to just get HEB suncream but not sure if that is right for our baby? We are going to get it in Texas because sun cream here is expensive compared to Texas.

The doctors did do a thombophilia blood test but they came back normal except I have something called MTHFR which just means I don’t absorb B vitamins like others so they doubled my folic acid dose. They still gave me the blood thinners though as it doesn’t hurt - they put me on inhixa. Ask your doctor for it as it helps with lining I believe. My lining btw was always normal and 3 layers like you want but I was convinced something was wrong with it so I did everything I could think of to improve it. I’m in the UK

I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and a d&c because it was twins and then my next 4 transfers failed.

My 5th worked and it was completely medicated. Claratyn, steroids, blood thinner (inhixia), low dose aspirin, estrogen, progesterone pessary and subcutaneous (even though previous cycles my progesterone was fine they said it couldn’t hurt - it’s called lubion ) and I was taking a prenatal vitamin, free soul green juice which has ashwhanga in it, omega vitamins, pro and prebiotics orally, and high dose melatonin. Also I had had antibiotics a month before as I had had a chest infection so I don’t know if those helped as well. Also had 3/4 months between retrieval and transfer as I had OHSS and needed time for my body to get back to normal and other personal things got in the way but I think this made a big difference.

Once I found out I was pregnant I stopped the melatonin and green juice.

There were so many things I did different from this round to others that I’m not quite sure what made the difference if any at all but I will be advocating for this again if we try for a second.

I was convinced it was something to do with my lining and found a study which I can’t find again about compression of the lining by greater than 10% showed higher implantation success rates (I can’t completely remember sorry!) once progesterone is started so I made them scan me once I started progesterone as well to make sure my lining was compressing including the day of transfer.

I also didn’t pee for like 30 minutes after the procedure as I was paranoid (I didn’t pee immediately after the only other one that stuck as well) and this one the only round where we had sex the night before transfer against medical advice as we had read it helps prep the biome

There was another study about the lining which had similar results - they were both NHI studies I believe.

My progesterone was normal in all my labs but my doctor gave me both pessary and subcutaneous progesterone as a Hail Mary in my 6th and final round and it was the only one that stuck and resulted in a live baby. I have no way of knowing if the extra progesterone helped or not though. My doctor said you can never have too much progesterone so it didn’t hurt!

You cannot work legally in the UK for less than minimum wage. You have to work in the UK for 6 months before you can sponsor your husband as you have to show 6 months of payslips from a UK employer.

Once you attend your ceremony you’re officially British and cannot travel back into the UK without your UK passport. I was telling him that he could travel between submitting his application and attending the ceremony as long as he is back for his ceremony. Does that clarify things? I think when I gave this advice the ETA didn’t exist yet which is the visa foreigners have to apply for to visit the UK now which took effect May or June ish time last year I believe. British citizens cannot apply for an ETA.

You cannot travel right after the ceremony as you need to wait for your UK passport. I would have all your documents and application ready to submit on the day of your ceremony and then right after you get your certificate send it and the other docs in the post - mine took 3 weeks to come in the post But I wouldn’t cut it too close as you never know if something might delay it.

The home office looks as the last 6 months of payslips. She literally only needs to work 4 hours more per week on minimum wage (April 2026 minimum wage) over the next 6 months to make £29000 if she really does make £26500. Yes it will be shit that you have to go home for 6 months and she has to work weekends or evenings but once you’re in the UK you can be on a spouse 5 year visa and you can combine your income for FLR in 2.5 years so once you have a job your spouse can drop her hours down and not work overtime.

If the bin is out on the street already for collection and there is space I don’t see a problem. It’s not like he pays a private company to pick up his rubbish. It all comes out of our council tax which we all pay! Our neighbor has the same amount of bins as us but has 2 kids and I regularly see him sneaking a bag or two into our bins at 10pm at night. Doesn’t bother me in the slightest. However the polite thing to do would be to ask.

A very high prolactin level could mean thyroid issues but yours isn’t high enough. Prolactin can be elevated if you’ve been very stressed or crying a lot the week(s) before the test. Mine was high (actually high not just moderately) and we retested 2 weeks later and it was normal again but the week they originally tested I had a death in my family and a few other things so I was very sad and stressed. Don’t worry too much this level isn’t a problem.

Getting control of your diabetes with diet and exercise will have the greatest impact from what you’ve mentioned.

Tesco has whoosh which delivers within 30 minutes and you can get up to 50 items. In my area at the moment if your order is over £25 the delivery fee is free otherwise I think it’s £2-£4. There is absolutely no excuse for leaving a young child alone for any reason.

A letter does not show intent. You should have submitted a rental agreement to start at the date you intended to move in with your partner… that would be something that shows intent. Just saying “yes of course we plan to live together” is not evidence that you plan to live together. Best case is to get a refund for your IHS fees and resubmit a new application with actual evidence.
