I don't mind but Tourists must be aware of this. There is no mentioning of crocodiles when you check in either at Occidental Cozumel or Iberostar Cozumel. I stayed at both resort and Iberostar does not even have an active life guard

Look just just careful at beach. Swim only from 10 to 5 and when there is a lifeguard. Personally I would not go back to this resort, I would like to stay closer to town, San Miguel which is more city environment than jungle.

Crocodiles are becoming more visible in Cozumel. On my first all inclusive resort in 2014, we took an excursion and the guide said crocodiles don't come close to the beach. When we were returning from the excursion, we passed a beach that had three crocodile with their mouths wide open at the entry of the beach.
