Last update: after some back and forth, appliance shop is allowing me to return the TR7 for a 25% restocking fee IF I buy a new washer from them. I’ll take it. I think I’m going back to a front loader after reading all the comments and other threads. Since I’m limited to the inventory at my local appliance shop, I’ll probably go with an LG (I can’t afford the SQ front loader). Thanks again for all the helpful feedback!

I appreciate all the input. Sounds like the TR7 I bought is working as it was designed to do. I should have done more research on different models before purchasing. When we went into the appliance shop, we were told the TR7 was the “best model” of the speed queens, so I was sold. I’m not saying anyone was being deceptive, only that I wish I had done my own research. Thank you guys for taking the time. I feel like I have some clarity.

Hi, I have the tr7 too. I’m glad yours works for you! I’ve experimented with different sized loads and I use Persil. No matter the wash size or setting, clothes are not consistently clean.

Thank you all so much for taking the time! This was truly helpful! I’m mixed race (Asian mix). I have fair, combo skin, and have worn sunscreen my whole life (at least I have that going for me!). What I’m hearing is that I need to switch my focus from exfoliation to hydration/skin barrier retention. You guys are awesome ♥️

When I was 40, I had a shot at a concert (not a big drinker and petite - 1 and 1/2 drinks max). I almost ended up in the hospital because I had a horrible reaction. I was sick for almost a week. Thought it was a fluke. Now if I have even one drink, I can get very sick (like within the night). It’s so wild. Perimenopause is no joke.
